Job Description:
To show tourists Stockholm and its eclectic mix of modern and historical architecture, extraordinary natural beauty, grand public squares, winding cobbled alleys, and lively cafes, bars and restaurants.
As a guide you will prepare your tour, welcome your guests, give them clear and concise safety instructions, take them out into the hustle and bustle of the city ensuring they are safe and happy, navigate them at a tempo suitable to their abilities, share stories and facts with them about the local area, and generally ensure they have a fantastic experience.
Who we are looking for:
- You should be an outgoing and friendly person who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering excellent customer service. It would be beneficial if you have experience working in the tourism industry.
- You should be able to communicate well in English and the language you intend to tour in (German or Dutch). Additional languages are desirable.
- You should currently live in Stockholm and have basic knowledge of the city.
- You should be able to ride a bike, but no prior Segway experience is necessary (we can teach you that).
- You should be able to work weekdays and weekends throughout the summer season April – October, with extra commitment needed through peak season June, July, August and September.

As a wildlife safari guide for Stockholm Adventures you can spend your summer cruising around the beautiful countryside surrounding the city, in search of wild animals. Sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for Sweden’s flora and fauna with interesting and lovely people from all over the world. What a fantastic way to spend your summer!
Job Description:
As a safari guide you will prepare your tour, welcome your guests, set their expectations for the evening ahead, drive them out of the hustle and bustle of the city and into the serenity of the countryside, set up and enjoy a traditional Swedish Midsummer meal with them, share stories and facts with them about the local flora and fauna, proceed to drive our safari route in search of wildlife with the guests and then after sunset return them to the city, ensuring they have had a fantastic experience.
Who we are looking for:
- You should be an outgoing and friendly person who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering excellent customer service. It would be beneficial if you have experience working in the tourism industry.
- You should be able to communicate well in English with additional languages being desirable.
- You should hold a valid EU driving licence.
- You should currently live in Stockholm and have basic knowledge of the local area.
- You should be able to work weekday and weekend late afternoon/evenings throughout the summer season April – October, with extra commitment needed through peak season June, July, August and September.

As a kayak guide for Stockholm Adventures you can spend your summer out on the water either in the city on Lake Malären or amongst the beautiful islands in the archipelago, meeting interesting and lovely people from all over the world. What a fantastic way to spend your summer!
Job Description:
As a guide you will prepare your tour, welcome your guests, give them clear and concise safety instructions, take them out on the water ensuring they are safe and happy, navigate them at a tempo suitable to their abilities, share stories with them about the local area, flora and fauna, provide them with freshly prepared delicious meals, on overnight tours help them with setting up and striking camp, and generally ensure they have a fantastic experience.
Who we are looking for:
- You should be a qualified kayak guide and be a strong swimmer.
- You should be an outgoing and friendly person who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering excellent customer service. It would be beneficial if you have experience working in the tourism industry.
- You should be able to communicate well in English with additional languages being desirable.
- You should hold a valid EU driving licence.
- You should currently live in Stockholm and have basic knowledge of the local area.
- You should be able to work weekdays and weekends throughout the summer season May – October, with extra commitment needed through peak season June, July, August and September.
- You should be happy to work 2 hour tours, day tours and multiday tours.
