Discover Stockholm from the water
Spend time paddling leisurely in a kayak while discovering Stockholm from the water. “The Venice of the North” is situated on 14 islands and linked by 57 bridges: no wonder it has earned this affectionate nickname!
You will feel the pulse of the city in a different way and explore the impressive buildings from the water, the way it was meant to be.
Our guides are all locals, and throughout the tour, they offer insights into local customs, history, culture, and way-of-life.
You will set off in stable two-person kayaks and there is no need to worry about tides or dangerous currents. Our tours are suitable for beginners as well as those with kayaking experience. Also, you won’t need much muscle-power to enjoy it.
Our National City Park – The World’s First
During the tour, you will have the chance to enjoy the Royal National City Park, which was named the world’s first in 1995. It is considered to be important to both the national cultural heritage and the city’s ecology. The park forms a unique historical landscape of forests, beaches, open fields and historic buildings. Within the park you can find traces of Sweden’s royals, such as Rosendal Palace. One can also find over 800 different types of flowering plants and Northern Europe’s largest population of large oaks. The park also boasts nests of about 100 bird species, as well as around 1000 species of butterflies, within its borders.
Paddling in our National City Park is a must for any visitor to Stockholm!
