Wild Stockholm
In Stockholm there isn't just natural forest vegetation but also wild animals close to the city. Reserve an evening for a comfortable tour out into the beautiful and historical Swedish landscape. Here you have the chance to meet the true forest inhabitants, elk, deer and wild pigs as well as a rich birdlife, at an excitingly close range.
Program
Our nature guide welcomes you onboard our small, comfortable bus. We depart from the entry to Sergel Plaza Hotel close to Sergels torg in central Stockholm between 7:00 and 8:30 pm (according to time of sunset). Please note! Meet up at the entrance to Scandic Sergel Plaza Hotel 15 minutes before departure!
From there we drive out on safari to one of Stockholm’s most wildlife-rich areas. During a ‘fika’ (Swedish for refreshments and snacks) our expert guide will give more detailed information on the destination and animals we hope to see.
In addition to wildlife viewing we will also do a short hike (15 minutes) in the forest so bring suitable shoes.
The tour concludes where we began, at Brunkebergs torg.
Guided by experts
Our expert guides show and help interpret the animals, nature and the rich history the nearby buildings evoke. They know where the kings of the forest, the elks usually wander at dusk to graze and search for water. Our tour navigates through rural landscapes, meadows, pastures and hillsides, with typical red cottages and well-preserved, classic manor houses. From here developed the nation of Sweden, here lived the Vikings who raised their runestones – many of them are still standing. We travel in small, comfortable buses, departing from Stockholm city. Included are refreshments and snacks at sunset.
Enjoy an exciting evening with Stockholm Adventures in the home of the Vikings, where the forest kings graze!
