Self-guided Kayaking in the Stockholm Archipelago
Explore on your own
The Nämdö archipelago is proposed to become a National Park and part of the 25.000 islands in the Stockholm archipelago. As you explore the myriad of islands and narrow passages, where the heavens meet the sea, it is easy to understand why. With the kayaks you can access almost every-where and you smoothly and silently glide over shallow water. Startled eider ducks take off close by and with a little luck you may spot white-tailed sea eagles and grey seals in their home environment.Ecotourism is our way of working
Stockholm Adventures has the quality label for Ecotourism Nature´s Best. This means careful use of nature, supporting local economies, very experienced guides and high quality in all what we offer. We are also approved incoming operator for PAN Parks.Climate
We always expect mostly fair weather on our tours. On average just one rainy day a week, can be expected. During July and August the day average temperatures normally are between 20-25° Centigrade and a few degrees colder at night. But it can be colder, especially in the beginning of summer, so make sure to bring some warm clothes to be on the safe side. Water temperatures usually range between 15° and 20° C. Refreshing warm for sure! May and end of September is normally a bit colder, sometimes even below 10°C at daytime.
Our kayak tours have received the quality label for ecotourism, Natures Best!
