Our Leaders
Tomas Bergenfeldt
Tomas is a nature and outdoor activity enthusiast whose goal is to help people discover lesser-known gems from Stockholm's wonderful natural environment. In 1984 he founded the travel company Äventyrsresor and worked there until 2007. In recent years he has also consulted as part of his company Ekoäventyr in order to influence politicians and beauracracy within local and regional governments to make improvements to access and attractiveness of natural areas fringing urban settlements. Tomas is owner and managing director of Stockholm Adventures.
Per Westberg
Per works will sales, administration and with helping our guests and agents in many ways.
Erika Kreitz
Erika is responsible for one of our kayak bases and is a highly experienced kayak leader for Äventyrsresor and Friskis & Svettis. She also has responsibility for booking and information for some of our tours. In addition, Erika works as an emergency-trained nurse at Söder hospital in Stockholm.
Jonas Hedlund
Jonas grew up and lives on the boundary of Tyresta National Park. He is a qualified biogeographer and a teacher at the Tyresö Nature School and responsible for Stockholm Adventures' hiking tours. Jonas has also led kayak tours for Äventyrsresor over many years.
Tomas Richter
Tomas Richter lives on one of the outer islands of the archipelago and in the city (neighbour to the Royal National City Park). Drives his bicycle to work every day and guides in English, Spanish and Swedish for Stockholm Adventures by bike, foot and in the Archipelago by boat.
Jan Pedersen
Jan is together with Erika responsible for our kayak tours. He is since many years professional tour leader with the world as work place. He is naturalist, author, natur photographer and lecturer. Recently he published his second bird book. Jan is nowdays also a keen kayaker with a special interest in Greenlandish kayaking tecniques.
Johanna Waernqvist
is a kayak leader, climbing instructor and audio-consultant. Artist with commissions for Sweden's Organisation for the Protection of Nature.
Mattias Pettersson
grew up near Tyresta and specialises in remains from the Viking and Stone Ages. He is an archeologist, naturalist and artist.
Filip Gullstrand
is a kayak leader. Filip has for the last couple of years studied the programs Qualified Vocational Education and Training in Nature-based Tourism and Mountain safety in Älvdalen. Outdoor activities are what he enjoys the most, where kayaking dominates his summer activities. He has a big interest for meteorology and nature.
Mikael Karlsson
Micke has led kayak tours for Äventyrsresor for many years. He is responsible for equipment for Stockholm Adventures. During the winter Micke is a gymnastics teacher in Ekerö, Stockholm.
